Model Descriptions
The Vespa LX 50 has a top speed of 70 km/h and is sufficient for 1 larger person to keep up with cars in the city. it comes with a flyscreen, and top case for helmet storage because the under-seat storage is not large enough to safely stow a 3/4 helmet. The LX 50 is not freeway legal.
The Vespa Primavera 50 is the updated version of the LX 50 that was released in 2015. It comes with a flyscreen and top case with backrest for the passenger's comfort. It has a larger under-seat storage that can accommodate up to an extra large helmet. The Primavera 50 is not freeway legal.
The Vespa Primavera 150 has a top speed of 110 km/h. It comes with a flyscreen, and top case with backrest for the passenger's comfort. The Primavera 150 is freeway legal.
The Vespa GTS 300 has a top speed of 130 km/h and is sufficient for 2 heavier people to keep up with cars in the city, even while climbing hills. It is also freeway legal. The Vespa GTS 300 comes with a flyscreen, a larger top case with backrest, and foot pegs for a higher level of passenger comfort.

Gas
The gas tank shall be full at the time of pickup, and is almost always sufficient for a full day of scootering.
If you are close to using the provided gas, and need more, you will need to refill the scooter with enough 91 octane gas to be able to return to the store.
Helmets
You may bring your own DOT or ECE approved helmet, but if you don't have your own, you must rent one for $5/day.
Extending Time
If you are unsure of how many hours you would like to rent your scooter for, you may start with a rental time you are comfortable with and add time along the way. To upgrade, you must call a minimum of 30 minutes before the agreed-upon return time.
Time extensions are subject to availability and are not guaranteed. The only way to guarantee a scooter for any given period of time is to reserve at the beginning of your rental.
Time Extension to Hourly Rentals
1 hour original rental - $20 for the 2nd hour, $10 for the 3rd hour, $10 for the 4th hour, then $5 for every additional hour
2+ hour original rental - $10 for the 3rd hour, $10 for the 4th hour, then $5 for every additional hour
The overnight period from 18h30 until 10h30 is considered a 4H block
Time Extension to 1D, 2D, 3D, and 4D Rentals
If you need something more precise than a 24 hour block of time, you may customize your rental time by adding additional hours at a rate of $15/hr capped at the next full day rental rate for LX 50 and Primavera 50, and $20/hr capped at the next full day rental rate for Primavera 150 and GTS 300. For example, if you rent an LX 50 for 4 days and want to add 6 hours to the rental, it would cost another $90. Because the 5th day is $100, adding 6 - 24 hours would cost a fixed $100.
Maximum Rental Duration
Because we have a limited number of Vespas, the maximum rental duration is 5 days. An exception to this maximum may be made in certain situations, but not guaranteed.
Late Return
If the renter returns the scooter to the designated return area more than 9 minutes after the scheduled “Time Back” without advising MS, the Renter shall be charged relative to how late the scooter is returned. Late Fees will be enforced according to the following schedule:
$5 - 10 - 15min late
$10 - 16 - 30min late
$15 - 31 - 45min late
$20 - 46 - 60min late
After 1 hour, Renter shall be charged $15/h (LX 50 and Primavera 50) or $20/h (Primavera 150 or GTS 300) capped at the next daily rate.
